I'm trying to remember 2 old Apple games?

when i was little, we had an Apple as our first computer. i can’t remember the model (but i gather there weren’t that many back then). there were 2 games on there that i loved to play and i wish i could find/remember again.

one was at a carnival or fair, and you walked by all these closed, brightly colored tents. if you stopped in front of one, it showed you the game inside. don’t think there was any levels or major bonuses, just the little prizes you got inside.

the other game was where you were a little dwarf-looking man in snow gear, and a wizard had cursed the mountain to be snow-covered. you used snowballs as ammo, and played strategy games with icicles and certain other beings. if you won, you got presents, each worth a different amount, that you took back to your cave at the bottom of the mountain. the idea was to get all the presents, make it to the top of the mountain, and somehow undo the snow-curse.

What do I get a man for V-Day?

Me and my husband are deciding to try to work things out…and for the first time he is actually doing something for me for Valentine’s Day. He is taking me out camping for the weekend. I want to do something for him too, or get him something, but I don’t know what to get him… it’s so hard figuring out what to get a guy. I can’t dress up all sexy cuz we are taking our 2 young kids with us, and they will be in our tent. Any suggestions???

IS THIS TRUE ABOUT THE HEAVEN OF A TRUE MuSLIM ACCORDING TO QURAN?

Quranic verses (Translated by Maolana A. Yousuf Ali) that promises Heaven with Houris, Sex, and Wine for the pious Muslims:

Quran-(52:17-20): “They will recline (with ease) on thrones arranged in ranks. And We shall marry them to Huris (fair females) with wide lovely eyes.” “There they shall pass from hand to hand a (wine) cup, free from any Laghw….”

Quran: (37:40-48): …they will sit with bashful, dark-eyed virgins, as chaste as the sheltered eggs of ostriches.

Quran: (44:51-55): Yes and we shall wed them to dark-eyed houris (beautiful virgins).

Quran: (55:56-57): In them will be bashful virgins neither man nor Jinn will have touched before. Then which of the favours of your Lord will you deny?

Quran-(55:72): “Hur (beautiful, fair females) guarded in pavilions;”

Quran: (78:31): “As for the righteous, they surely triumph. Their gardens and vineyards and high-bosomed (pointed breast) virgins for companions, truly overflowing cup”

Quran-(78: 33-34):“And young full-breasted (mature) maidens of equal age, and a full cup of wine.”

Quran-(55:57-58): “Then which of the blessings of your lord will you both (jinn and men) deny? (In beauty) they are like rubies and coral”.

Quran-(56:7-40): “ …we created the houris and made them virgins, loving companions for those on the right hand….”

Quran-(55:70-77): “ In each there shall be virgins chaste and fair….dark eyed virgins sheltered in their tents whom neither man or Jinn have touched before…”

Quran-56:22: “And (there will be) Huris with wide, lovely eyes (as wives for the pious)”

Quran-(56: 35-36): “Verily , We have created them (maidens) of special creation. And made them Virgins.”

Quran- (55:56): “Wherein both will be Qasirat-ut-Tarf (chaste females restraining their glances, desiring none except their husband) with whom no man or jinni has had tamth before them.”

Quran: (2:25): “And give glad tidings to those who believe and do righteous good deeds, that for them will be Gardens under which rivers flow (Paradise)……….and they will be given these things in resemblance (i.e., in the same form but different in taste) and they shall have therein Azwajun Muhtahharatun (purified mates and wives) and that they will have abide therein forever”.

Quran:(47:15): “The description of Paradise which the Muttaqun have been promised (is that) in it are rivers of water the taste and smell of which are not changed, rivers of milk of which the taste never changes, rivers of wine delicious to those who drink, and rivers of clarified honey……….”

Quran-(40-45): "Surely for the God-fearing awaits a place of security gardens and vineyards and maidens with swelling (protruding) bosoms."

Is this a good tent?

Vango Tempest 150? Sleeps 1/2 man (nice and cosy), 2.65kg, pitches as one, or flysheet first, alloy poles, seamless inner…all being sold for £60.

I’m after a cosy 2 man, relatively lightweight so can be carried when walking, easy to put up, with a bit of a porch and will withstand reasonably harsh conditions.

Anyone got any experience of this model? Used Vango before and they were amazing…

Can a landlord throw away my property that was in the basement?

We had a lot of things stored in our basement of the 2 family house were we live. We had put the things into rubbermaid tubs and on shelves. The stuff was the children’s outdoor toys, our camping gear including our tent, housewares that we were not using, baby and toddler toys we were saving for the baby we are now having some furniture. We went to the basement because I tripped a fuse over this weekend and noticed everything was gone. We called the landlord only for him to say everything was junk and he hired some men to clean out the basement and that our stuff was in the dump.

Can he do this without notifying us?

i want to go hiking in the east of france sleep in a tent for about 3-4 days ,?

i dont want to get lost but i want to travel for half a by foot set up camp then set off next day travel a further half a day set up camp again stay the night then head back the next day , i am a begnner, but do have some knowleged on hiking and survival if needed, dont want to hit any snow just want to stay at low altituids , i will be alone ? i cant find any nature parks were i can do this or any thing like it ,every thing i find has its own loddgings, can any one help

Odd confusing dreams…. Help please?

Last night I had 2 dreams that confused me :S help please?

In the first one I was in this plane, the kind that can land on water. And I was sitting at the back of the cargo hold that looked like it had been covered in tin foil, and there was was a walkway going from the back of the plane to the front and either side there was a ditch. When the plane came into land on the water it went into rather than on it and the ditches either side inflated and water started to come into the plane and soak me. So I stood up and walked very very slowly down the walkway while the plane was jerking around and the water level kept rising. There was a button at the other end of the plane and I pushed it and all the water drained away and the ditches deflated. All the way through it I was wearing this mad white lace dress and the hem was soaked and I was singing this slow sad song for some reason.

In the second one, my friends and me were in an RV driving through France. And one night it was really late so we pulled into this house on the side of the road that advertised camping. When we got there, the little old man who owned the place took the RV away and left us with this ratty old yellow tent that had hay barrels in it. Two of my friends sat down on the barrels and pulled their coats over themselves and went to sleep. Someone else ran in and said how the old man was acting odd and perverted. We all got nervous and decided that we should leave. Just then the old man burst into the tent talking gibberish. The girl on the hay barrel woke up and started to pretend she was Mexican, the guy next to her did the same. They distracted the old man and the rest of us ran out of the tent. Outside we decided to split up into groups to look for the RV. We split into 3 groups. One went one way and the other went the opposite and me and my best friend ran round the back of the old delapidated house. We were looking round the side of it and the old man suddenly ran at her. I jumped in between them and she fell. The rest of them had found the RV and had picked up the two in the tent and were shouting at us to get in. The old man was foaming at the mouth and was having a fit like heartattack. He went all stiff and his eyes rolled back to show the whites and I pushed him off of me knowing that he was dead. All the time my best friend was screaming and trying to get to me to help me but the rest of them were holding her back. I climbed into the RV and we left and got back on the road. We were all dirty and grubby and our clothes were torn but we were safe and everyone was laughing and joking about what had happened. But I was still scared because I knew he had died and that some how we were going to get the blame and the police would be after us.

Then my alarm went off and woke me up. Do those dreams mean anything or are they just random things my imagination thought up? Please help me, 10 easy points and this text box is driving me MAD….

Tennis Survivor: Sicily — Day 2 (Music headlines the camping grounds)?

First of all: Happy first day of summer!!! XDXD

It was only the 1st day of Survivor: Sicily and there were already 2 extremely close votes! For team Acquazzone, Leander Paes barely survived after a 5-3 vote knocked Santiago Giraldo out of the competition. After a 4-1-3 vote for team Fuoco di Inferno, Max Minryi has been voted off.

After the mellow-dramatic tribal council, all the contestants were escorted to a tent to celebrate the new season. When they entered the tent they saw a shiny kareoke machine. Andy Roddick was the first to partake in this, singing Elton John’s "Rocketman" and bringing tears to the eyes of Steffi Graf after he wooed his fellow contestants playing the piano and singing the chorus. Ana Ivanovic and Aravane Rezai chose to make the party more entertaining, so they sang "Milkshake"! All the men went crazy as Rezai and Ivanovic strutted their stuff, wearing gold bikinis (haha). Next was a quartet of Gael Monfils, Daniel Nestor, Fernando Verdasco, and Leander Paes. Their song: Queen’s "Bohemian Rhapsody". For 5min and 55sec they sang with passion, leading into the famous operatic portion. Once Daniel Nestor started with the line "I see a little sillhouetto of a man" the crowd erupted into a frenzy and roses and sea horses (sea horses?!?) were flying everywhere! After their performance, they took their bows and everyone continued the festivites by eating and drinking.

Once the two teams went into their respective locations after the party, they had to build a camp. Melinda Czink and Liezel Huber helped Andy Roddick as Ilie Nastase and Sam Stosur collected wood for the fire. Meanwhile, Gilles Simon went fishing and caught a Marlin. He returned to the beach glistening and waving his hair as Agnieszka looked at him with wide eyes…his trunks fell off! She quickly got her camera and took a picture (fifteen actually) before Simon finally found an olive branch to hide his genitals. Everything’s going well for team Fuoco di Inferno, except for Gilles. On team Acquazzone, Jurgen Melzer went hunting and found a rhinocerous (what the hell was that doing there?) and brought it back to the camp, where they cooked it. Schiavone and Safina were collecting wood for the camp, as Safina trailed off on her own to find the hidden Immunity Idol. She hides it somewhere and returns to camp. Everyone else is doing their own thing, except for Ivanovic and Verdasco, who seem to have rekindled their relationship….

can i sue a man for verbal abuse and threatning me? It gets way deeper not much room. Please help!?

I have been friends with a straight couple for around a year, I myelf am gay though, and my partner was also good friends with them (no funny business!). everything was fine up until the wife and i decided to take classes for college together. The husband immediatly did a 180. He was used to her always being home and literally never leaving! He started getting very rude towards his wife as well as me, and eventually was put on 4 meds so that he could handle her leaveing for school. they have 4 kids and i have one and while we were going to school during the evening last semester my daughter would go over there with the husband, i sometimes watched their children but not often. when i asked how much i should pay for her being over there 4 nights a week i was told that it was like having the fourth child, that lives with her mother home, no compensation needed! I didn’t feel right with that so i gave them money here and there. The husband called to ask if i could watch the kids in the middle of thanksgiving dinner with my partners family. I told him that today it couldn’t happen (the wife was home, she needed to go to the store and he doesn’t let her go alone). He threw a fit! He came over to my house and yelled at me for 2 hours. he then stated that i WILL pay 5 dollars everytime i am in the car. and i will pay everyday for my daughter to be there. after he felt like he got his point across, things returned back to the way they were, or so i thought, he was bad mouthing me to everyone calling me a dyke and all kinds of things( i have long hair i wear make up and girls clothes!) to other mutual friends. my daughter then began comming home with stories about how the husband plays guitar hero all night and doesn’t pay attention to them and they had 2 older boys staying there (19 and 21) and they made a dark tent and trapped her in there and made their phones make horror movie screams, that is only one example! needless to say i stopped sending her over there. then again recently i had papers and things that were due the next day, and he called at 7:30 to ask me to babysit. i said no i cant i have school tomorrow and i go to bed early and have to get these papers done! he said he would figure something else out then called and demanded that i was to go spend the night then i would leave from school from there. i again said sorry but i cant. his parents are living there and he was going to take her out for valentines day but the parents were going and he wanted me to watch his little terror of a 13 yr old brother too. we had decided that i would pay when i recieved my student loan money, It was a mutual agreement between the three of us the night he was yelling at me! the wife texted me the other day and said he said have a check ready. he called after i said that he wasn’t my father and i would give it when i had cashed the student loan check. he called me and started to go off on me again to i told him that i was not his wife and that he was lucky i wasn’t, he cant control me, and quite a few other things but i dont remember it all. the then proceded to tell me that he was going to come up here and "set my ass straight!" i said something like oh, your a reall big man your gonna come up here and beat up a 5’2" 115 lb girl ya loser. i live .3 miles from her and she has an expedition and we have an explorer. today i filled up before class then at the gas station just past my house i filled up again to see what it really should be… It took 4 dollars. they are trying to charge me 5 dollars a day for 8 weeks and in the begining the deal was that she drove last semester and i would drive this semester. no gas money involved. and they are trying to charge me all the way back till they first began babysitting.

Can i sue for all of the comments?
Can i sue him for emotional distress caused by him going off on me all the time and threatning me?
can i sue for him allowing for my child to be treated that way?
What should i pay back?

2 all my american brothers and sisters,as we know that there is a grave economic crisis going on in the country(i think worst in 100 years),i saw a article in the READING EAGLE that now people are selling their homes and coming on streets living in tents,tent areas are rapidly developing in atlanta,san Diego and even here in reading,pa.FRIENDS this is a unheard thing in our country,its becoming like african and poor asian countries where people are becoming homeless…

BANKS are shutting down,airlines going bankrupt,small Business in small towns and rural areas are desperately moving 2 bigger cities as they r really not getting any work…

inflation is getting worse by day,prices of gas skyrocketing,the economic slump in america is affecting the whole world.and a global economic meltdown is on the cards

my sincere question 2 every1 here(i dont intend 2 hurt any1) is that no matter what obama has a great knowledge of economy.his deputy biden is also a well versed man in terms of knowledge of the economy.whereas mccain has zero knowledge of economy(he himself admitted it) .palin aint that great 2.with such a large economic problem looming and looking monsterous.,they are only talking about war in iraq
(which is one of the causes for the economic meltdown it seems)…

SEE make no mistake.i have great respect for both obama and mccain.both are dedicated people and have great achievments in life.but i fell that at present the person 2 handle the current economic crisis is obama himself

still i wish ,hope and pray that whoever is elected guides our country(and hence the world) 2 economic safety and returns the smiles on the faces of people

i apologize if i hurt any1s feeling

Looking for must-see sights and great hikes in the Banff/Lake Louise/Jasper area. We only have a week to make the round-trip from Vancouver. What's the best 4 man tent for a festival?

Me and 2 friends are going to Leeds festival in August and we need to buy a tent. As we’ll have bags, we need space to store them. Our main requirements are that the tent is waterproof so it’ll keep us dry if it pours down, and it’s not too complicated to put up. We don’t want it to be too cramped, cause we’ll be in there for 5 nights. A decent sized porch area would be nice, but it’s not a necessity. We don’t want to spend loads on the tent, in case it gets trashed while we’re there. Any help would be appreciated :)

I have noticed on the web some talk about "nude hiking or nude camping." Is this popular? And where do you go for this activity. I have seen couples at the beach nude. They camp out on the beach in tents. They come out of their tent and stay "au natural" for the day, just soaking up sunshine!
