I’ve never gone hiking in the winter before, but I’m getting kind of curious about it. Anyway, I have Osprey’s Kestrel 48L and was wondering if it would work for winter backpacking.
I was thinking I could keep at least my sleeping pad and tent on the outside and everything else on the inside. I’m not fully aware of all the essentials that winter backpacking requires though.
So is a 48L backpack enough for winter backpacking, or would I need to get a bigger pack?
Thanks in advance.
