My two sons and I will be traveling through Tennessee in July and we are looking to spend a day or two at a campground. I have done some research online and have found a few state parks that look lovely… Fall River Falls for example. I was just hoping for any more suggestions from people who have more familiarity with the area than I do. Our final destination is going to be Atlanta and we are starting in Wisconsin. We are looking to do some hiking, climbing, swimming and tenting.

Ok for starters, not in the best of shape anymore, but while doing a 10 mile day hike on a mountainous trail, upon stopping to set up camp (tent) I started experiencing severe leg and foot cramping. Had me flopping like a fish out of water the charley horses were so bad in my calves and feet. My toes actually locked in a curled position. This lasted for about 30 minutes, it was terrible.

Hi, I’m looking into buying a tent and was wondering if anyone would know one that would fit my needs.

I’m spending 5 weeks camping in Alaska. It’ll be coldest 30 degrees. I need a small tent that’ll fit me and my hiking backpack, so maybe a two person tent. It needs to hold up to rain and be durable enough to last for the full 5 weeks.

My maximum price is 0, but I’m ideally looking for something around .
Has anyone bought a tent that might fit these needs? If it’s over that price, please answer anyway, I might be able to find it cheaper on ebay or something.

      Thanks!

Well my girlfriend and i go camping often and we’re going again in a day. We’re staying at a campground with a tent. We’ve been together 3+ years. I have a ring and i think i’ll propose to her while we’re hiking. Do you think i should propose in a different situation? And what type of romantic things should i do while we’re camping?

Me and my friends want to take a camping trip this summer. We’re all 16. I’m looking for a relatively wooded private campsite. It would be nice if it was near some nice hiking area with panoramic views. It has to be in New England. We would be camping in a tent, not an RV so utilities are not a problem, just a fire site would be nice. Thanks.
