So, For now, The trip is supposed to start from Maine (W.Mountains N.P) Or MA (Around Eisner Camp, Barkshires), NY (Albany, Catskills) and NJ (Bear Mt. S.P, N.Y.C) then a plane to FL and back to NY, and I need to know a few things:

Where should I go (Nature and Urban)?
Where can I sleep (Camping, Motels)?
How to travel cheap (transportaion)? Bus? Train? Airplane?
How to go to FL and back? Airplanes are expansive (220$)?
How to eat cheap and vegatarian food (not from the garbage)?
anything special I should take with me? (maybe for the National Parks)
How much does things usually cost in the US? (Tent, BackPacks, Shoes, Clothes Etc.)

Thanks Everyone!

    Picture it:
-Eighteen 14-16 year olds hiking for 9 days
    -No tents-sleeping under plastic
    -No toilets, no showers
-3 changes of clothes for the whole time
    -Vegeterian meals
-Have to get up at 4am, finish hiking at 8pm
    -No music/phones/pens and even books!

I am going to die. I haven’t even slept in a tent before!
Yeah I do go to a Private school.

I’m planning a trip this summer and will be using my Specialized Allez Race Bike. Seeing that I can’t hook up a basket, is it ridiculous to use a hiking backpack that stores my clothes and tent and other stuff in? I’m riding halfway to my cabin, camping, then riding the other half and then back (same process). Is there any other way to attach some kind of carrier to the back of my bike for my back’s sake?

Is there an brand known more then others for having virutally indestructible gear. I am in need of boots, socks, pants, shirt, hiking pack, tent, sleeping bag.
I know brands like North Face and others are heavily marketed but are those what the pros use.

For example what kind or gear do the real deal hikers and extended campers use?

        Thanks
this site seems to have everything one would need…but clothes..and the selection is not overwhelming like other sites. so if anyone wants to take a look around and make some recommendations that would be swell

When it comes time to set up camp and you’ve been hiking through the snow all day you’re going to be covered in snow. How do you keep the inside of your tent (1-2 person tent) from becoming a sloppy mess when you crawl inside and change into your sleeping clothes?

Right. At the weekend me and my mate crashed a party in the middle of a field, it was a party with about 9 boys from my year, the hot ones (; And we were messing about all night with them and we were getting loads of attention which of course we liked (: But this one guy kept asking me to sleep in the 2 man tent with him so i did cause i didn’t really think it a big deal. We were talking together for hours and i saw a different side of him, he made sure i was warm and gave me loads of clothes to wear (we had no idea we would end up staying so we didn’t bring any stuff) and made sure i was all comfortable and stuff and of course, he ended up kissing me (: But im not really sure if it counts as ‘getting off’ it lasted about 6 seconds and we used tongues and all (; But i pulled away because i got all embarassed and scared i wasn’t doing it right, because im never sure on how to kiss properly. After i pulled away he asked if i was okay but then he got up out the tent and sat down with everyone else. Im not sure if i upset him or pissed him off. In the morning we were messing about and all and he said i looked good in his clothes and everything (; But now i dont know what to say to people if they ask (because they most likely will) Does it count as a kiss or getting off or whatever you call it? (: Thanks.
